You
can help to transform the present reality of crime, misery and injustice
of the mega cities! Take part in the Rescue and Restore Course. Learn
to work with children and teens at risk and their families, with special
focus on:
Children
and Teens in Need – Work directly with the streets children – Recuperation
Homes – Reintegration with their families, etc
Community Development Centers – Children and teen clubs – Family counseling
– Professional courses

Evangelism

THE
GOAL

The
goal of the course is to see new works developed among the street children
by starting new Restoration homes. We also desire to help their families
in the slums, establishing Community Centers in all the large cities of
Brazil, as well as the mega cities of the developing nations, mainly in
the 10-40 window.

COURSE
LOCATION

This
full time course is held at Project Pequeninos in YWAM Recife, where we
have our restoration center.
Nehemiah on the Street, Open House – first contact house and half way
house for the street children. Hope House – recuperation for the street
boys. Community
work – outreach in to the poor communities.

WHERE?

The course will begin in Abril with the lecture phase lasting three months,
followed by a two month practical phase. This can be done at the Rescue
and Restore Urban Ministries base, in Recife.

FOR
WHO? YOU

The
course is for: YWAM
staff who have completed a DTS (Discipleship Training School). Staff
from churches and ministries who already have a commitment to working
with children and teenagers (only the lecture phase; the internship should
be done with their own church or ministry).

When?
On the April 11th, 2004.
