CHALLENGES

As a YWAM Base, we rented some rooms of a church to run our Base, however, we pay a very high price for this renting. Today we're placed out of the limits of Moscow , but we still pay a high renting. We pay U$ 100 dollars for each room we use to run the Base. So, as we have couples, single boys, single girls and also offices and classrooms, we have to rent several rooms, which implies to a very high expense.

The problem related to this is not only the financial expenses at all, but the limitation we have in receiving more missionaries to work with us, and also in receiving more students to our Training Schools. This has avoided us having a bigger number of people to be trained. Therefore, for a while, our capacity of multiplying workers and consequently ministries (as ministries need workers to function) is limited.

There still is a third problem with all this: for someone to live in Moscow, even being a Russian, he or she needs a visa. In order to supply visas to our students or workers, we must have a property in our name, for this is the only way we can prove to the government that we can host the people we're inviting in, and that they won't be on the streets, or living under bridges.

Thanks God we already bought a land very close to Moscow, and we plan to build there in the future. We have some people from a Mission here helping us with the construction planning, and we need a lot of prayer for that. We need to raise financial resources for the construction, and we'll also need prayer for us to get all the documentation needed for that. A pastor friend, who built a building for their Mission, has told me that about 50 different types of licenses would be needed to have all registered.

Therefore, dear brothers, when we build our base , we'll be able to give invitation letters and to receive as many people as fit in this place. For sure we'll increase the number of Russian missionaries more quickly, and we'll be able to help other ministries (rehabilitation homes, projects with street kids, another training schools, etc.) with people to work on them.

Let's pray that the Lord will give us all the resources (financial, documents e people) to have the construction.
